June Highlight: ArDarius Grayson – From Bulldog to Wildcat

This month, we’re celebrating 17-year-old ArDarius Grayson, a standout scholar-athlete from Oakland Technical High School. ArDarius recently graduated with a 3.5 GPA and is headed to Weber State University on a basketball scholarship. A two-time Oakland Athletic League MVP, he helped lead Tech to its first-ever Division II state championship in 2024 and was instrumental in this season’s run to the Division I NorCal semifinals.

Beyond the court, ArDarius credits his academic success and perseverance to his grandfather, who raised him and his siblings with a deep focus on education. NBA star and Oakland native Damian Lillard has also played a key mentorship role, helping open doors to college athletics and beyond.

As ArDarius steps into this next chapter, his hometown cheers him on—with pride, gratitude, and big dreams for what’s ahead.
