The seeMYchild Youth Leadership Academy (sMc YLA) is a transformative, youth-led program designed to build confidence, leadership skills, and community awareness. Whether this is your first leadership experience or you’re ready to sharpen your skills, this Academy gives you the space to explore, express, and expand your leadership voice.
Through mentorship, interactive sessions, and real-world applications, participants learn to plan events, lead meetings, engage with community leaders, and inspire others to act. Every session builds critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence—skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Program Objectives

Foster mindfulness and emotional intelligence as core leadership values.

Who Can Participate?
Youth leaders in grades 7–12 are invited to join. As part of the Academy, participants will:

Collaborate with peers and Academy Directors.

Plan and organize meetings and events.

Act as liaisons within their groups.

Lead discussions and engage in community projects.
Curriculum Overview (2025–2026)
The Academy meets once a month on Sundays. Each session builds on the next with hands-on learning and leadership practice.

January 18, 2026: Civic Engagement

May 17, 2026: Reflection & Graduation
Graduates will present a Leadership Showcase and receive a certificate and stipend at the closing ceremony.
